A different, and stunning, view of the famous Bow Lake from yesterday morning.
'Adaptation to survive' - I suspect this tree on the shore of Horseshoe Lake has a lengthy and inspirational story of survival in Jasper National Park. I can almost feel it stretching and moving to glimpse the sun and take in it's warm embrace.
Thin Ice - Horseshoe Lake is just days away from melting in this scene from Jasper National Park. This lake is great for cliff jumping (although dangerous) in the Summer up to around 100 ft!

Now that's how a mountain should look! I went back to get a clear sunrise shot of Storm mountain, which from this direction looks insurmountable.
